Mozzarella Burger

A mozzarella burger is a juicy beef hamburger topped with melted mozzarella cheese, creating a creamy, stretchy texture that blends perfectly with the savory meat. Often served on a toasted bun with fresh vegetables and sauce, it’s a simple yet indulgent comfort food.

This burger highlights the mild, milky flavor of mozzarella, which melts smoothly over a hot beef patty. The result is a rich and satisfying sandwich that balances softness, juiciness, and a light cheesy stretch in every bite.

Cook Time: 10–15 minutes
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 1–2 burgers

Ingredients:

  • 1–2 hamburger buns
  • 200–250 g ground beef (preferably 80/20 fat ratio)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2–3 slices of mozzarella cheese
  • Lettuce leaves (optional)
  • Tomato slices (optional)
  • Mayonnaise, ketchup, or garlic sauce (optional)
  • Butter (for toasting the bun)

Instructions:

  1. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and form into burger patties.
  2. Heat a grill or pan over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 3–4 minutes per side (or until desired doneness).
  3. In the last minute of cooking, place mozzarella slices on top of the patties and cover the pan so the cheese melts.
  4. Lightly butter the buns and toast them until golden.
  5. Assemble the burger: spread sauce on the bun, add lettuce and tomato (if using), place the cheesy beef patty, and close the burger.
  6. Serve immediately while hot and gooey.
