Ingredients
For the Chicken Patties
- 500 g (1 lb) ground chicken
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
For Assembly
- 4 burger buns, toasted
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 4 slices cheddar cheese (optional)
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp mustard
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and parsley.
- Mix until just combined and divide into 4 equal portions.
- Shape each portion into a burger patty.
- Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat and lightly grease it.
- Cook the patties for 6–7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
- If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking.
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard to make the burger sauce.
- Spread the sauce on the toasted buns.
- Assemble the burgers by placing lettuce, tomato slices, and the cooked chicken patty on each bun.
- Serve immediately with fries, salad, or your favorite side dish.
