Ingredients

  • 2 beef burger patties (about 150–180g each)
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 2 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 2 burger buns
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter (optional, for toasting buns)
  • Lettuce, tomato, onion (optional toppings)
  • Burger sauce or mayonnaise (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Set aside on paper towels.
  2. Season the beef patties with salt and pepper. Grill or pan-fry for 3–5 minutes per side, depending on desired doneness.
  3. Place a slice of cheddar on each patty during the last minute of cooking so it melts.
  4. Lightly toast the burger buns in a pan with butter until golden.
  5. Assemble the burger: bottom bun, lettuce (optional), cheesy beef patty, crispy bacon, tomato/onion (optional), sauce, and top bun.
  6. Serve immediately while hot and juicy.
