Easy and Economical Oven-Baked Hamburgão


 

This easy and economical baked burger bread is a delicious savory snack made with soft homemade dough and stuffed with hamburger, cheese, and tasty fillings. It is perfect for parties, family snacks, or even to sell because it is inexpensive, filling, and very simple to prepare.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 500 g all-purpose flour
  • 10 g dry biological yeast
  • 250 ml warm milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Filling

  • 10 hamburger patties
  • 10 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 10 slices ham
  • 10 tomato slices
  • Oregano to taste
  • Sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1 egg yolk for brushing

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the warm milk and dry yeast. Stir well until dissolved.
  2. Add the sugar, egg, oil, and salt. Mix everything together.
  3. Gradually add the flour while mixing until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 8 to 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Cover the dough with a clean towel and let it rest for approximately 40 minutes, or until doubled in size.
  6. Divide the dough into 10 equal portions.
  7. Flatten each portion into a round shape and place one hamburger patty in the center.
  8. Add one slice of ham, one slice of mozzarella cheese, and one tomato slice on top of the hamburger.
  9. Sprinkle oregano to taste.
  10. Close the dough carefully around the filling, sealing the edges completely.
  11. Place the stuffed dough balls seam-side down on a greased baking tray.
  12. Brush the tops with egg yolk and sprinkle sesame seeds if desired.
  13. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  14. Remove from the oven and serve warm.
