Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Cheese slices (optional)
  • Mayonnaise or sauce of choice

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breast into small pieces and place it in a food processor.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, parsley, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Blend until the mixture becomes smooth and well combined.
  4. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet or grill over medium heat and brush with olive oil.
  6. Cook the chicken burgers for about 5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked inside.
  7. If using cheese, place a slice on top of each burger during the last minute of cooking.
  8. Toast the burger buns lightly.
  9. Assemble the burgers with lettuce, tomato, sauce, and the chicken patty.
  10. Serve immediately with fries, salad, or your favorite side dish.
