Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 8 slices smoked bacon
- 4 brioche burger buns
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 tomato slices
- 8 pickle slices
- 1 small red onion, sliced
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil (optional)
Burger Sauce
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tsp pickle relish
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
- In a small bowl, mix all the burger sauce ingredients until smooth. Set aside.
- Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and gently form patties. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4–5 minutes per side, depending on desired doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and let it melt.
- Lightly toast the brioche buns.
- Spread burger sauce on both halves of each bun.
- Assemble each burger with lettuce, the cheeseburger patty, two slices of crispy bacon, tomato, onion, pickles, and the top bun.
