Ingredients
- 2 hamburger buns
- 2 beef burger patties (about 150g each)
- 2 eggs
- 2 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 lettuce leaves
- 4 tomato slices
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the beef patties with salt and black pepper.
- Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 4–5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- Place one slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking so it melts.
- In another pan, fry the eggs with a little butter until the whites are cooked but the yolks remain slightly runny.
- Cut the hamburger buns in half and lightly toast them with butter.
- Spread mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard on the buns.
- Assemble the burgers by adding lettuce, tomato slices, the cheeseburger patty, and the fried egg.
- Close the burgers with the top buns and serve immediately.
