Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh parsley and chives (mixed herbs)
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 200 ml cold milk
  • 400 ml olive oil or vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and roughly chop the parsley and chives.
  2. Peel the garlic clove and cut it in half.
  3. Add the herbs, garlic, milk, salt, and black pepper to a blender.
  4. Blend on medium speed for about 2 minutes.
  5. Slowly pour in the oil while blending continuously until the sauce becomes creamy and thick, similar to mayonnaise.
  6. Add lemon juice if desired and blend for a few more seconds.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  8. Transfer the sauce to a container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
